The only argument for the tombstone belonging to an association is that the deceased is called ὁ ἴδ[ιος] [ἀ]δελφός, ho id[ios] [a]delphos (CIRB 967, ll. 1-2). For this formula, see also CIRB 104 from Pantikapaion, which is surely a thiasotic record, CAPInv. 1296). But since the monument is fragmentary, it is not clear whether ἀδελφός, adelphos, ‘brother’, has a religious sense here.
