Geographical:Hippikeitai: according to Hepding (1910: 478) Hippikeitai may denote a 'Landsmannschaft' or it may designate a neighborhood of Pergamon.
The ending -itai in Pergamene inscriptions seems to designate groups of people drawing their name from the area/ territory they inhabited (e.g. Dioskouritai CAP Inv. 917, Pakoritai CAP Inv. 916, Midapedeitai CAP Inv. 902).
